Visual identification complex of the Crimean ethnographic Museum
Task: in the course of the diploma project to develop a complex of visual identification of the Crimean ethnographic Museum.

When developing a complex of visual identification, the task was to show the unity and equality of all ethnic groups living on the territory of Crimea. Analysis of the Crimean ethnic landscape has shown that the unifying visual image can be a thread that is present in sewing, knitting, embroidery, lace, and weaving of various ethnic groups. In turn, the fabric that is obtained by intertwining threads is able to convey the idea of intertwining cultures and is able to form the image of the ethnic fabric of the Crimea.
The graphic sign is represented by a polysyllabic pictorial metaphor. Here the fabric is not only a set of intersecting horizontal and vertical threads, but also a lot of stylized images of faces, where each face symbolizes a separate ethnic group. Also note that the addition of a graphic sign with a logo allows you to get a third image-the silhouette of the Peninsula.
The visual identification complex is initially dynamic. This is due to the fact that the Museum's exhibitions are designed to represent 21 ethnic groups, which excludes the possibility of using a single color scheme to represent such diversity. The material for each ethnic group was collected and processed, as a result, based on the national costume, embroidery, and Museum exposition, an individual color scheme was developed for each ethnic group. The result is 21 color schemes, presented in a separate guide. Thus, the graphic block is able to change the color scheme depending on which ethnic group is being discussed in visual communication.
